Welcome to the Plairsoft community: how it works and where to start

This is Plairsoft's airsoft community: a place to ask questions, help and learn amongst players, whether you have ten years of experience or you're heading to your first game on Sunday.

How it works

• Ask without fear. There are no silly questions: beginner questions are the ones that help the next person the most.
• Write in your language. The forum translates every thread and every reply into the language of whoever reads it. You write as you speak.
• Mark the best answer. When an answer solves your question, recommend it: that way the next person sees it first.
• Endorsements build reputation. Every useful answer endorsed by the community adds to the Expert Airsofter programme. Reputation is earned by answering, not bought.
• Mention who can help by writing @ and their username.

Where to start

1. Check out the Getting started and first steps category: there are beginner questions waiting for answers and others that might be yours.
2. If you want to post, the assistant will let you know if a similar thread already exists so the conversation doesn't get split up.
3. Fill in your profile (bio, location, languages): people are more likely to answer someone they know where they're from.

The rules, in short

Respect, no buying and selling outside the second-hand section, no personal data about third parties and no hidden advertising. The team moderates and everything it does is logged. If you see something out of place, use the report button.
